It is absolutely surreal to be writing this first official email in five years. Hur mår du? Wie gehts? Like many things, the 040x040 exchange-a-rama went into a long, enforced hibernation due to the COVID-19 years. I've missed our community so much.
To be perfectly honest, I don't have the final blueprint for the next five years ready yet. I’ve met with Martin from Media Evolution, when he was at Next Conference. And he brought some new momentum to town (aka kicked my butt). The bigger plan is still taking shape. But I do have an exciting, immediate focus: 2025 marks the 10th anniversary of our fantastic network connecting Hamburg and Malmö!
I want to relaunch by reconnecting with all of you and celebrating the decade of exchange we built together. To kick things off, I'm starting a special series of Anniversary Interviews with some of the key personalities and contributors from our past safaris. Get ready for a proper catch-up and a look at what they've been up to since we last rode our bikes together.
So with Lucia festen around the corner and today’s first of advent, let’s shine a light together.
